Residential Remodeler

Responsibilities
The residential remodeler position is responsible for the installation and maintenance of new construction, renovations and other projects. This position's primary responsibility will be to provide quality work in accordance with company standards as well as customer needs. We are looking for someone who can help us build our reputation by providing excellent service while maintaining high levels of professionalism at all times.
Detailed job duties include:
- Perform all aspects of the remodel process.
- Coordinate with other contractors to ensure that work is completed in an efficient manner.
- Ensure proper installation for each project by following company procedures.
- Maintain quality standards on the jobsite at all times.
- Installs foundations, walls, floors, and ceilings using materials such as: wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials.
- Fits and installs window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim.
- Erects scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
- Studies specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
- Shapes or cuts materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
- Installs windows and doors.
- Follows established safety rules and regulations
- Moves necessary materials around jobsite as assigned.
- Maintain a safe and clean jobsite environment.
- Cleans up worksite debris.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills, including the ability to work with other contractors
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, with preference given to candidates with experience in remodeling
- Must be able to read blueprints and plans
- Must have basic math skills
- Experience with hand tools and heavy equipment required

Education
- Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program; OR at least three years of experience via on-the-job training required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and terrains.
- Must have manual dexterity, a good sense of balance, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
